Oshin Baghram is a highly experienced trial attorney and former prosecutor who has handled a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases, bringing a strategic and results-driven approach to every matter he takes on. As the founder of Baghram Law Firm, Mr. Baghram leverages his extensive courtroom experience and prosecutorial insight to provide clients with a powerful and informed defense.
Mr. Baghram earned his Juris Doctor from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law and began developing his courtroom skills early in his career while serving as a Certified Law Clerk with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, where he conducted numerous preliminary hearings, assisted in jury trials, and worked closely with law enforcement officers and victims.
Mr. Baghram later served as a Deputy District Attorney, where he prosecuted both misdemeanor and felony cases including DUI, domestic violence, theft crimes, assault, driving offenses, and other serious criminal matters. In this role, he regularly handled jury trials, evidentiary motions, plea negotiations, and complex case analysis. Through diligent preparation and effective courtroom advocacy, Mr. Baghram achieved a 100% conviction rate in the cases he tried as a prosecutor, demonstrating his ability to present persuasive arguments and effectively analyze evidence under pressure.
Prior to his work as a prosecutor, Mr. Baghram gained significant defense experience managing a high-volume caseload and representing clients in misdemeanor and felony matters in private practice. This combined experience on both sides of the courtroom allows Mr. Baghram to anticipate prosecutorial strategies and develop highly effective defense approaches tailored to each client’s circumstances.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Baghram is actively involved in his community. He currently serves on a school board and on a Little League board, where he contributes to youth development initiatives and community programs. His commitment to public service also includes educational presentations regarding the legal system, volunteer work supporting youth programs, and participation in initiatives promoting public safety and legal education.
